A Bolivian empanada to fall in love with.

In Bolivia, enjoying a salteña mid-morning is a much-loved tradition. This hand-sealed empanada holds a warm, juicy filling full of flavour. The aroma draws you in for that first bite, and the last leaves you wanting another.

Since 2006, Salteñas Martín has shared that tradition in London. Our family café welcomes familiar faces and anyone trying Bolivian food for the first time.

Our speciality

The salteña

Golden, slightly sweet pastry filled with chicken, vegetables, spices and a savoury broth. Hold it upright and take a small first bite to keep all that lovely juice inside.

Perfect with

Try it with mocochinchi, a Bolivian drink made with dried peaches and cinnamon, or a freshly made coffee.
